Diary
When Carlton Webb's name came up, a tale was recalled that Auntie Schlecht told about the hand written diary of Haddonfield that Carlton's mother had let her read one time.  As years passed, members of the Webb family had kept this diary up to date.  One item in the book was that a gate once crossed Ellis Street at Kings Highway to keep the sows off the Main Street.  Center Street, it stated, was only a lane that ended up at Riley's Military Academy.  It would be very interesting to know whatever happened to that diary because it would have a lot of homespun facts in it that would be fun to have.
